About the committee:
Accepts, records and acknowledges all memorial and special gifts made to Memorial United Methodist Church. Makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees regarding the thoughtful disposition of said monies or items. Maintains record of all donations received and items purchased for the church with these donations. The Memorial & Special Gifts Committee is under the jurisdiction of and overseen by the Board of Trustees. Requests for use of memorial monies must be submitted to the Chairperson for approval by members of the committee in advance of any use of monies.
Chairperson serves as a member of the Church Charge Conference and Church Council.
