Called to Journey, Called to Welcome: 6 Week Conference-Wide Online Bible Study

Date: Thursdays | 7:00–8:30 PM, April 16 – May 21
Location: Online | Free
You are warmly invited to join a NYAC conference-wide online Bible study on immigration sponsored by the New York Annual Conference Board of Church and Society.
What does Scripture teach us about welcoming the stranger? How do today’s immigration policies shape the lives of people seeking safety, stability, and a future in the United States? And how might we, as people of faith, faithfully respond?
Over six weeks, we will explore immigration through the lenses of Scripture, United Methodist social teaching, and the lived realities of immigrants today.
Together we will reflect, learn, and discern how we are called to journey alongside our neighbors and embody God’s welcome.
Six clergy leaders from across the conference will help facilitate the sessions. All are welcome—please invite others in your congregation or network.
