A memorial service celebrating Adva’s life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11 am, in the Memorial Garden at Memorial United Methodist Church, 867 West Avon Road, Avon, CT, with Rev. Sungmu Lee officiating. Everyone is welcome to attend as we remember her beautiful life and celebrate all her incredible accomplishments. Please join us in sharing your favorite memories of Adva. A reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall after the service. Everyone is welcome.
Adva Jean Volle (née Runnels), age 93, of Avon, Connecticut, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of February 8, 2026. Born on October 16, 1932, in Magee, Mississippi, Adva was the daughter of Vardeman and Virgie Runnels.
