New Pre-K Program @ Churchery School
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Beginning with the 2024-25 school year the Churchery School will be proud to offer a pre-kindergarten program. Learning through play will take center stage while ensuring a strong academic foundation as your child prepares for kindergarten. Our program will align with Connecticut state standards and provide dedicated time for students to explore all core areas of academics including literacy, math, and science. With a small class size of only ten students, we can provide an individualized learning environment and create meaningful enrichment opportunities. We are excited for you to join us on this journey of exploration and discovery.
DETAILS
- The program will be held Monday – Thursday, 9am – 1pm
- Students will eat morning snack and lunch at school
- Eligible students will turn five by December 31, 2024
- Registration for current/past families begins Nov 20 and open to all on Dec 4
MEET THE TEACHER
Jaclyn Pare, a previous Churchery School mother, will lead the Pre-K program. Jaclyn was a second grade teacher in Concord, MA before taking time to stay home with her three sons. Most recently, Jaclyn has been a kindergarten substitute teacher at Pine Grove School in Avon and an assistant teacher in our threes program. Jaclyn has a Masters Degree in Education from Tufts University.
