“O come, let us sing to the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” (Psalm 95:1)

Memorial United Methodist Church is proud of its music program, which greatly inspires us in our worship of God.  Our program provides opportunities for music ministry from second grade through adulthood. The importance of music in the life of our congregation is evidenced by the fact that half of each worship service is music.  We are a ‘singing church’ embracing old and new traditions from all styles of music.

Memorial Choir presents a variety of anthems to enhance the worship service and to appeal to a diversity of musical tastes.  Choir members have backgrounds that range from having little formal training to being professional musicians.  This mix of talent, combined with piano, organ and instruments, blends together to make beautiful music.

Handbell Choir includes adults and youth who perform on five octaves of hand bells and choir chimes during our worship services. They perform both sacred and secular music.
