Please join us on Confirmation Sunday, September 15, as we welcome and embrace 5 newly confirmed disciples of Jesus Christ into the life of faith at Memorial and The United Methodist Church. We look forward to their sharing their gifts with us and growing as active church members. During the Service, the congregation also will have the opportunity to renew our commitment to follow Jesus and be part of the church.
After the service, a reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall to place your blessings upon our confirmands.
United Methodists use the term “confirmation” to mark the first time a baptized Christian publicly “confirms” their intention to live the vows of the baptismal and membership covenant and so becomes a professing member of the local congregation and The United Methodist Church.
