2025 UMARMY Mission Trips
The following mission weeks have been set for 2025. These are all over-night camps.
July 13-19: Mixed Age (7th grade through high school plus adult leaders), Seymour, CT
July 20-26: Mixed Age (7th grade through high school plus adult leaders), Centerport LI, NY
Ella & Nate Ross, and Kevin Sweet are attending the Seymour, CT mission week and Julia Sweet is attending the Centerport LI, NY mission week. If there are other youth or adults that would like to join one or both mission weeks, the cutoff date to register is June 1. If interested in knowing more, please contact me.
This year UMARMY is allowing graduated 5th grade students to participate in our mission weeks. This is a new adventure for us so we are excited about welcoming our new participants! Students who have graduated 5th grade and are entering 6th grade can attend with the accompaniment of a parent or guardian. We feel this will help our new and younger missionaries try their hand at a sleep away mission week with a little added support. The parent or guardian and child will not be on the same work team, unless special accommodations need to be considered. The cost for the mission week is $325/person.
Scholarships are available through UMARMY and MUMC Missions and Outreach Committee has funds specified for UMARMY use. Please contact Laura Gorden to apply for the scholarship.
